I recently successfully completed several sessions of EMDR. My primary therapist treating me for PTSD suggested EMDR as adjunct therapy with another therapist. Having also experienced an NDE about 11 years ago, I was astounded to re-experience a similar, though not as intense, event during EMDR. I shared this with my therapist and she was thrilled to hear about it. When I listened to Dr. Botkin on Coast to Coast I was thrilled to hear him give credence to NDE-like experiences during EMDR. I was also fascinated to hear Dr. Botkin speak about IADC and its profound effects on those among us suffering from grief and loss. Certainly, EMDR is opening a "gateway" for these "phenomena" to occur...
