Yes, I know what you mean about being "in the closet." However, you should know that the National Science Foundation’s biennial report for 2004 showed 60 percent of Americans agree that some people possess psychic ability.
Younger Americans are even more likely to acknowledge the greater reality. A survey of a small number of California State University students showed that 75 percent believed in psychic phenomena, 44 percent had direct experience with psychic phenomena, and 25 percent said they possessed psychic abilities. One poll of Americans showed as many as 98 percent believe in God. Other polls with more modest results still showed 75 percent believing in God.

I wish you could have an IADC session with Al. You understand that about two in three have the experience when they come in for a session. However, the EMDR and grief treatment would help you dramatically even if you didn't have the experience. Keep watching for therapists in your area.
