No, an induced after-death communication doesn't result in physical healing. Prayer does have an effect, if you pray for wellbeing, in love. Petitionary prayers in which you want to get for yourself are not as effective.

But more importantly, healing the spirit is much more important than healing the body. Pray that you will be given guidance to be closer to the Higher Power and more loving and compassionate. Open to the guides and Higher Power to help you learn that the body is just temporary and you have more important ways to grow and be healed. Learn to give up on the body. It's just a temporary shell, and a poorly made one at that. Let it fall apart. Focus on who you are in the mind that's eternal. Each time you grow in love, compassion, wisdom, and trust in the Higher Power, that growth unfolds in the spirit, which is eternal and uncorruptable.
