Yes, I agree that there are some real dangers in listening to those on this side and the next who claim to have knowledge and it's misleading. Whatever we accept must be corroborated just as we expect corroboration and replication in science.

One of the things that amazes me is that the people focused on different topics about the afterlife ignore other areas. The NDE people don't care anything about mental mediums and physical mediums. The consciousness people don't know anything about NDEs or ADCs. And so on. As a result, they make statements we know aren't true, or confess ignorance of facts we know from other areas to be true.

As for reincarnation, the skeptics have no more reasonable explanation for the evidence that is explained by reincarnation, and as you know, there is much clear evidence for it. We'll have to wait to hear another explanation for the birthmarks, remarkably accurate memories of details, and emotion insistence that children as young as 3 have lived another life.
